Alexander Ødegaard (born September 13, 1980 in Førde) is a Norwegian football striker.
Ødegaard was one of the 1980 generation players to break into the first team of Sogndal IL. After a successful 2004 season where he scored 12 league goals for Sogndal, and made his international debut for Norway, his services were wanted by SK Brann and Rosenborg BK. He chose the 13-in-a-row league champions Rosenborg, but his first season was a disappointment, and after the season he was sold to Viking in a deal worth €875.000. Ødegaard has scored 4 goals in 12 appearances for Viking in the 2007 season. By 24th January 2011, he signed a two and Half years contract with FC Metz playing Ligue 2.
